SAPA Centre is a systems-change institution focused on applied research, ecosystem diagnostics, policy-to-action pathways, measurement, and implementation support for India’s growing sports and physical activity (SAPA) ecosystem.

Incubated at the Sports and Society Accelerator in 2022, the SAPA Centre operates as a dedicated vertical within GoSports Foundation.

Within the GoSports Foundation’s growing institutional framework, the SAPA Centre will serve as a central interface for research, standards, measurement and systems support. It will deepen engagement with governments, institutions, funders, implementation partners and ecosystem actors to shape priorities, inform policy processes, and strengthen delivery systems.

Through a full-stack approach, the Centre envisions an India where movement, play, and sport are integral to everyday life, enabling universal participation and pathways to excellence, and advancing well-being, capability, and national development.
